The lines structuring our surroundings are the starting point of this photographic research. The composition is based on perspectives and graphic elements. Sometimes, double exposure allows a kind of visual echo between similar type elements or a destructuration of the whole. The disruption of space markers tends to contrast with the rational aspect of the lines structuring the image. In some other pictures, space is still intact but the tension of lines and reality about to toggle is dominant.

By superimposing two sides of reality, we get to experiment with our surroundings in a totally different way. Reality plays the role of a raw material and is just a pretext to visual experiments. Raw sight is the only target of this series. Each picture is an autonomous space, a sample of reality destructured / restructured.

We travel from the stiff lines of a definite urban environment to the dream-like nature of some more ethereal landscapes. We catch a glimpse of the endless possibilities our surroundings contains by seizing it through manipulation, inversion, destructuration, restructuration… by leaving a gap for divergences in the reality space.
